Wow, there is so much information in this program.  I have been working on Lesson 1 and 2 for two weeks.  I finally feel that I enough information to move on to Lesson 3.  With the research I have done I am getting a clearer picture of which direction I want to go.  When I joined this program I though I had a pretty good idea of what to do and how to accomplish it.  I realize now that I really am a "newbie".  This is going to be a very exciting journey and I look forward to learning all I can.


What did I learn this week?  I learned that in order to do keyword research you need to know and understand your audience and their buying needs and habits. Also, that profitable keywords are the foundation of your business.


What Actions did I take this week?  I started my excel spreadsheet with all the tabs for the information I found. (I love spreadsheets, this was the fun part). I purchased Click Ad Equalizer to make the lesson 3, hopefully easier than this one.


What results did I get this week?   At this point, I do not have any physical results as I not have my blog set up, but I do have the accomplishment of completing Lesson 1 and 2.  That is more than nothing.  I also have my spreadsheet started and a much better idea of who my target customer is.

Hi Cindy:

I'm so sorry that I haven't had a chance to call like I promised.  Being sick last week really put me behind in accomplishing everything on my "To Do" list.  But I'm really thrilled with the progress that you've made so far!  This is such essential, foundational stuff to accomplish before I help you move the content of your blog to the new hosting account!

Lesson 3 will help you plan out where the money will come from before you move on to Lesson 4 where you actually start moving into your new "home" (your blog).  I'd love to see you really outline the profit funnel before moving your content!

Then, you should actually look at that profit funnel flowchart and see how the blog should be arranged.  With the profit funnel in place, it's a lot easier to plan out your categories, your pages, etc.  That way you won't have to move everything twice -- once from where it's at now to being on the new site, and a second time moving it from where it is on the new site to where it needs to be in order to make the $$ happen.

For each product in the low end of your funnel, you'll likely want a separate category on your blog.  And, a separate sales page for that product.  If you also have mid-range products, it looks like this:
