Thanks  for all the knowledge you're sharing. I'm learning a lot. I'm very grateful.

In the blog (howtomanifestanything.com) that I have created as a participant in the Passion To Profits course, I am building my list (striving to, only had 15 unique visitors and 1 signup since I posted my first post last Nov. 7), by giving away 7 lessons from the teachers of the Secret (Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield & Michael Beckwith). I am an affiliate of the Science of Getting Rich Program.

So I set up my autoresponders in such a way that one email goes out each day for 7 days, with each email containing the link to access Lessons 1, 2, and so on.

My question is, where do I put my bonus offer if they purchase? Will I add a P.S. in my email saying something like this:

"If you purchase the full program on the Science of Getting Rich (SGR), you will get a BONUS from me which would accelerate what you will learn from the program and get immediate results. While I strongly recommend that you go through the entire SGR program to fully understand the process of manifesting abundance in your life, there is a faster and easier way and it is the ultimate secret to manifesting the desires of your heart.

To get this bonus, all you have to do is to send me your receipt at info@howtomanifestanything.com."

Is this alright?

My other question is, 2 days after I have made my first post (Nov. 9), howtomanifestanything.com was in the first page of google at #6 spot. Then from Nov. 12-14, it was on the #1 spot. Yesterday and today, when I checked it, I couldn't find it anymore. I looked at the search results for the keyword "how to manifest anything" up to page 7 and my blog was nowhere. What happened to it Gina? All I did so far was to ping my posts, social bookmarked them, created a feedburner feed and that's it. I haven't even completed the 6 steps.

Great questions!

First, you asked "where do I put my bonus offer if they purchase?"

If your opt in offer gets them to subscribe to your list, then triggers a series of messages that gets sent daily for 7 days, each of the messages should use the formula that you use in writing a blog post:

*  Story that sets the stage for a problem that the bonus helps them to solve
*  A question that is the statement of the problem (i.e. "How will Lesson 1 help you manifest your ________?")
*  Steps to the solution (these should reiterate the steps they'll learn in the lesson)
*  SHORT explanation
*  Call to action that says something like:

"The 7 Lessons you're receiving will get you started manifesting anything you can dream of!  But if you want to get bigger results in record time, then make sure you download ________ now!

"To help make it a super easy, no brainer decision for you, I'll even throw in a great bonus!  All you need to do is order [NAME OF PRODUCT] from www.YourRedirectLink.com and send your receipt to us at [AUTORESPONDER EMAIL ADDRESS] and you'll immediately receive the ultimate secret to manifesting the desires of your heart."

Next you ask what happened to your search results.  I can't really answer that question as there are too many variables.  What I suspect, though, is that perhaps you were logged into Google when you first checked the results and later, when you went back to look, maybe you weren't logged in?  This will DEFINITELY affect the rankings that you see in the results!

I just went to Google and put in the title of your most recent post which is "Do You Know How to Manifest Anything?"  I did NOT put quotes around the phrase.  There were 5,230,000 search results.  Guess what shows up in the #1 spot?  YOU!

Here's a screen shot to prove it...



Likewise, if I just search for "How To Manifest Anything" -- again withOUT the quotes -- there are 31,600,000 search results.  Guess where you show up?  The #2 spot in the results!  Check it out...



So, I'm not sure what you could have done wrong, but I see it just fine!

I am actually quite surprised by this.  I could understand you ranking that well if you had done the entire 6 step process at least a few times, but it's pretty impressive since you haven't!

Let me ask a quick question about your site...

Is there a reason that you have the entire most recent post showing up on the front page?  Even with just 4 articles, you could easily use the category widgets to display them on the front page.  That would make it look more like an online magazine than a blog.

Also -- make sure that you go into your Widgets.  Locate the widget area for "Archives".  This determines what shows up in your sidebar on your category pages, your archive pages, and your search pages.  Right now, these only show your opt in box and your banner for the affiliate product.  The split sidebar items for categories and recent posts aren't showing up.  This makes it difficult for you to get decent levels of engagement.

Lastly, go into "Settings" and "Reading".  See what you have it set to for the number of posts to show up on a page.  Right now, if you go to a category like "Daily Affirmations" which has 2 articles in it, the page only displays 1 article and a "Previous Entries" link.  Tell it to display 10 entries before putting the "Previous Entries" link.  This will help improve engagement as well.

Otherwise, you're site is looking great!  Good job!

Yes! The site is #1 for the keyword how to manifest anything I don't know what to say.

I actually made my article "Do You Know How To Manifest Anything" as my home page because I thought I could get better rankings for the home page if the main keyword I use is the same as my domain name. So I set it in such a way that it will be the only one displayed in the home page. I set up the article as a page, not a post.

I have followed your suggestion so I set the number of posts to be displayed as 10. But when I checked it, it still is displaying that article alone. So should I republished it as a post instead of a page and set the front page displays as "latest post" instead of "static page"?

I have also put the Archive widget below the split sidebar for categories and recent posts. Did I understand you correctly? I did not quite understand what you meant when you said "Locate the widget area for "Archives".

I will modify my autoresponders and include my bonus if they purchase. My bonus will be a short ebook entitled "The Ultimate Secret To Manifesting Your Heart's Desire" PLUS a web-based app (it runs in Iphones, androids, nokia, etc.) which I have developed to facilitate the manifestation process.

I've been thinking of maybe offering the app to build my list instead of making it part of the bonus. What do you think Gina?  I called the app "Flip Switchers". Hi Babes:

I didn't realize that the post was actually a static page.  Yes, you need to move that from a page to a post.  That's why it's behaving that way.

You should have a plugin installed called All In One SEO.  If you go to the "Settings" area in your dashboard, you should see All In One SEO in the listings there.  Go into that plugin and change the title and description to use "How To Manifest Anything".  That will accomplish what you were trying to do with the static front page.

You don't want to use a single page as your front page.  Since you're using MyInstantTheme for Business, the intent of that theme is to have category boxes show up on the home page.  See for example www.HowToLiveOnPurpose.com or www.Argonette.com. 

Both of these sites are created the same way.  The home page is set to be the posts not a static front page.  Then, under "Appearance" locate "Widgets".  There are 4 widget areas down the right hand side of the Widgets page of your dashboard that correspond to the following:

*  Home Page Top Content
*  Home Page Left Content Column
*  Home Page Right Content Column
*  Home Page Bottom Content

On HowToLiveOnPurpose.com they are only using the Home Page Left Content Column and the Right Content Column.  In each of these widget areas, they are using the "MyInstantTheme - Recent Posts" widget to display just a single category.  For the Left Content Column, there are 3 "MyInstantTheme - Recent Posts" widgets -- one for the Life Purpose category, one for the Mind Category, one for the Spirit Category.  In the Right Content Column there are also 3 "MyInstantTheme - Recent Posts" widgets - one for the Native American Category, one for the Body Category, one for the Emotion Category.

In addition to these 4 widget areas on the Widgets page in your dashboard, you should also see a widget area called "Archive Side Bar".  This is completely separate from "Primary Sidebar Wide Top", "Primary Sidebar - Narrow Left", "Primary Sidebar - Narrow Right", and "Primary Sidebar Wide Bottom".

Unlike the Primary Sidebar that has both wide areas (over 2 columns) and split sidebars (left and right), the Archive Sidebar has just 1 configuration -- all of the widgets appear in a single column that spans the entire sidebar.

The Archive Sidebar is what displays on Category Pages, Tag Pages, Archive Pages, and Search Result Pages.  So, it's important that you duplicate the Primary Sidebar in the Archive Sidebar so that your visitors see everything you want them to see.

Using MyInstantTheme For Business should make the site look more like an online magazine than a blog.  Your site currently looks like a blog and this will mean low levels of engagement and conversion.

I know this sounds funny, but here's the best advice I can give you... Forget everything you THOUGHT you knew about SEO and Web Design!  My system approaches things from a very different point of view...

The system I am teaching you approaches everything from the standpoint of what serves the reader the best.  Google really wants to find the sites that serve their searches in the best way possible.  So, serving your readers gets you rewarded by Google with higher search engine rankings.

For more info on this, read the sales page on www.MyInstantVideo.com.  It refers you to some of the wisdom Google provides to webmasters and should help make this even clearer for you.

I did take a look at your app.  Wow!  Did you make the app yourself?  If so, we need to talk!

I think it's a great idea for you to use the app to build your list!  You can either:

a)  Put something on your blog that gives them instructions to download the app in their mobile browser, or
b)  Do some mobile advertising via PPC for mobile (i.e. www.admobi.com or other similar sites) that gets people to opt in to get your app on their phone, or
c)  BOTH!

I think you could build a really big list quickly using the app!  It would be even better if the app had a natural way for you to move people to your affiliate link for a paid product.  See if you can find a way to do that as well!  That way it doesn't just build your list, it also starts making you $$ at the same time!

Thank you for telling me more about MyInstant Theme for Business. Now I understand. I will definitely change the layout of my blog as soon as possible as well as change the page to a post. Wow, HowToLiveOnPurpose.com and Argonette.com are really excellent websites. Now I understand what you mean by levels of engagement and conversion. Now I understand why using MyInstant Theme for Business in the right way lowers the bounce rate.

Yes, I know I should unlearn all I learned about SEO. As you know, I earned my living before thru adsense sites before Google suspended my account so after building more than a hundred adsense wp blogs, I guess I have developed some "SEO and design habits" and old habits die hard  . But I'm changing my ways

Yup, I created the app myself. It's just a simple app, I don't know how to develop games or complicated apps which require extensive coding or programming because I'm not a programmer. I plan to create more simple apps, kinda like a suite of manifestation accelerator apps. My next app will probably be called The Gratitude app.

I have modified the layout and design of the blog as per your advice. I think it looks much better now

I know very little about mobile ppc so I will have to check out admob and see.
