As Gina is so graciuosly hosting a Teleconference call on Tuesday Aril 29 at 2PM EST I wanted to get prepared for the event.

I am really not at ths stage in my Challenge, but I wanted to be as prepared and knowledgeable as possible so that what I am about to learn will make more sense.

So, I created a mindmap of a GINA BLOG and what this entailed was culling all the blogging info from forum posts together and putting it in a form I could readily see and comprehend.

To that end, and since this information was as a result of Gina's posts to many of us, that I felt it prudent to share this with all of you. I even made a video and following is a 'work sheet' I am using with corresponding links.

Holy Cow, John!  That's INCREDIBLE stuff you've put together!  I hope that everyone here really appreciates your efforts!

The one comment I wanted to make was about the notes in your post.  There are a few items that are NOT plugins.  These are:

Feedburner - this is a free memebership site that has tools that you will use to optimize your blog and to promote your blog
MyBlogLog - this is a free membership site that you will use to see the stats for your blog AND you will use it to join communities of other bloggers to drive traffic to your site
Pingoat - this is a free, online based tool that allows you to ping the search engines
Google Analytics - this is a free tool provided by Google that is used to see how visitors got to your site and what they do when on your site

Otherwise, AWESOME work!

Thanks for putting this all together in a list for us. It was something I was going to get to one piece at a time from my notes. What a timesaver!
I'm also looking forward to the teleseminar Tues. I was telling my goal buddie (from another time and place  ) about the "30 Day Challenge." She was quite impressed though not willing to take on something so detailed at this time. Her goals are somewhat different from mine.

This is turning into quite an experience, isn't it?

You are more than welcome. I did this for myself as I am finding it really helps in my understanding  and planning, and spent an extra 5 minutes to make a video. This is one way to give back to all the Challengers who are making my learning possible.

I realize that this is an old post, but perhaps we should update these old posts.  Otherwise it looks like easy fodder for the people looking to sign up at "dead" forums just to get a back link.  But actually, I wanted to comment about the subject and how disappointed I am that the GINA-BLOG.pdf download was not available at this time at MediaFire.  Does anyone have a copy they wouldn't mind sharing?
